DaDa Disability and Deaf Arts is a disability and Deaf arts development agency established in 1984. We want everyone to have the chance to be included in arts and culture and we run events that show off disability and Deaf arts.

Established in 1992, VIVID has a longstanding commitment to the development of contemporary media arts through research, production, and commissioning programmes. Based in Birmingham's Eastside district, the VIVID project space, The Garage, is used to introduce audiences to both emerging talent and work of international significance, with a strong focus on the moving image and innovation. VIVID takes an inter-disciplinary approach to moving image to also embrace music, new media, live and visual arts and in doing so, supports audiences to navigate their own way through complex and important histories and territories.

Our live performances are influenced by international cultures and seek to address the challenges and possibilities of our time. Hereford Photography Festival
HPF has been bringing photography and photographers to rural Herefordshire for 20 years. Hereford has welcomed photography with a generosity and enthusiasm only exceeded by that of the many photographers who have been involved along the way. Hereford Photography Festival, until recently, was the only annual photography festival in the UK. It has always had a documentary flavour, although has never consciously adopted that title. Hereford Photography Festival has always been a photographers’ project; started by enthusiasts and sustained by artists happy to see their work reach new audiences outside of predictable city spaces.
 
Rasa Productions
Rasa highlight, investigate and artistically celebrate the migrant experience. Informed by the cultural heritage of Rani Moorthy, we use timeless and conventional modes of theatrical expression, producing narrative dramas to explore the idea that personal identity is fluid, and that the migrant experience is universal, timeless and without boundaries. Exploring the culture of links, we employ hidden histories, relationships, mythology and folklore to uncover what is shared between people.
 
Intertext
Intertext Project is a visual art consultant partnership. Founded in 2003, Intertext has delivered over £1 million of national public art projects for clients from Arts Council England to City Councils and private sector companies. Intertext has shown at international art fairs including Scope Miami and Dokfest Kassel and is currently delivering a digital lens-based project for Photomonth Krakow.
 
The New School House Gallery
The New School House Gallery is a contemporary object and art gallery in York showing the best in studio ceramics and the decorative arts through innovative exhibitions and a regular stock of celebrated makers.
 
Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival
HCMF is an annual, international festival of contemporary and new music, which takes place over 10 days and consists of approximately 50 events, including: concerts, music-theatre, dance, multi-media, talks and film, with a related education and outreach programme devised and implemented to reflect the programme and respond to regional need. HCMF aims to provide life-changing and unique artistic experiences to as wide an audience as possible; to be an international platform for new music and related contemporary artforms in Britain; to enthuse existing audiences and draw in new ones through adventurous programming and informed, stylish presentation and to be an active cultural partner within the region.
 
Rideout
Rideout (Creative Arts for Rehabilitation) was established in 1999 in order to develop innovative, arts-based approaches to working with prisoners and staff within UK prisons. We've retained a special emphasis on working in the Midlands where the company is based. The prisons where we've worked most extensively are HMP & YOI Swinfen Hall, HMP Birmingham and HMP Dovegate, each of which have hosted a number of programmes. This prison-bound work has additionally extended to encompass national issues of prison and criminal justice reform.
 
Octagon Theatre Bolton
The Octagon Theatre Bolton is one of the North West’s most intimate and exciting theatres and has been producing nationally renowned work for more than 40 years. The Octagon recently entered a new era under the artistic direction of Olivier Award-winner David Thacker, with a programme that includes timeless drama, hilarious comedy, epic musicals and a hugely successful festive family show.

DanceXchange
A partner organisation with Birmingham Hippodrome and Birmingham Royal Ballet, dx is housed in the theatre complex and creates exciting opportunities for people of all walks of life to engage in dance, either as a participant, performer or audience member. dx has both a national and a regional remit and provides artistic support, education, performances and participation opportunities, and advocates for dance at all levels.

London Sinfonietta
Our mission is to place the best contemporary classical music at the heart of today’s culture; engaging and challenging the public through inspiring performances of the highest standard, and taking risks to develop new work and talent. The London Sinfonietta is one of the world’s elite contemporary music ensembles with a reputation built on the virtuosity of its performances and ambitious programming. It is committed to placing new music at the heart of contemporary culture and pushing boundaries; the ensemble regularly undertakes projects with choreographers, video artists, filmmakers and collaborations with electronica artists, jazz and folk musicians.
 
The Lowry
Kathy McArdle is working with a wide range of partners on Salford Quays and Trafford Wharf to develop an arts and cultural programme that has digital creativity embedded within and across it. The partners encompass Peel Media (which has built MediaCityUK), BBC North, the University of Salford (which will have a campus at MediaCityUK), The Lowry, Imperial War Museum North, Salford Community Leisure (including Ordsall Hall gallery and museum and The Quays Watersports Centre), Lancashire County Cricket Club, The Lowry Outlet Mall, Manchester United and the two local authorities of Salford City Council and Trafford City Council. The Rural Media Company
The Rural Media Company, founded in 1992, is an award-winning education, production and development charity, based in Herefordshire and working throughout the UK. Our vision is a society where everyone has access to digital media to communicate, create and learn. We work in partnership with public, third and private sector agencies including national trusts, universities, broadcasters and local and central government departments. Our creative work with disadvantaged and isolated rural communities is nationally and internationally regarded.
 
New Art Exchange
In September 2003 the New Art Exchange was formed to steer and manage the development of Nottingham’s first dedicated cultural facility for Black contemporary arts. The New Art Exchange was formed as a partnership between APNA Arts and EMACA Visual Arts. APNA Arts focused on South Asian arts and played a key role in the development of the Nottingham Mela.
 
Writing East Midlands
Writing East Midlands is the writer development agency for the East Midlands. We support and advocate writing in the region, create opportunities for writers and discover new writers of quality. We advocate for investment in the literature sector to create an environment in which writers and writing can flourish. We are developing services appropriate for writers at different stages in their careers. We facilitate new commissions, projects, residencies, and publications, and we also support appropriate live events.
 
Leicester Print Workshop
We have a passion for fine art printmaking. We provide affordable specialist printmaking facilities and expert knowledge to artists and enthusiasts; offer a comprehensive education programme in the studio, at offsite venues and in schools and colleges; and organise exhibitions and work in partnership with venues and other parties to commission and originate new work.

Sound It Out Community Music
Sound It Out brings together professional musicians to work alongside local participants of different ages, experience and ability; uses creative learning techniques such as improvisation; creates the environment in which people can realise their full potential; works in many different settings encouraging participants individually and in groups; offers programmes lasting from a day to several years, often culminating in performance; and encourages participation, learning and a sense of belonging through its activities bringing achievement and success.
 
Sampad

Sampad is a dynamic development agency for South Asian arts based in Birmingham. It plays a significant role regionally, nationally and beyond, in promoting the appreciation and practice of the diverse artforms originating from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Through its work Sampad serves, supports and initiates South Asian arts in all its forms working with youth, community, education and professional artists.

Birmingham City University
Professor Gregory Sporton is the Director of the Visualisation Research Unit (VRU) at the School of Art, Birmingham City University. The VRU specialises in development and application of new technologies for the visual and performing arts. He holds patents for his motion generating system 'MotivePro', as well as leading creative technology projects for Eastside Projects (the EP:VV) and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (The Watertower). He is also extensively published on the issues for artists and new technologies, and is currently working on a book looking at how digital technology has changed our ideas about creativity (and not always for the best).

Share Our Past Ltd
www.sharehistory.org is a website with which the historian in each of us can engage to create a user-generated database of history. And the reason? The history that is in private hands is an untapped resource. It comes in different forms - images, research, theatre tickets, train timetables, diaries. We all hang on to different things. The trouble is that there are critical times when we get rid of them. By having a virtual record we can make the past live.

Radio To Go is an IT and radio consultancy, specialising in music, programming and low-cost digital platforms for radio. Recent projects include software consultancy work at Magyar Radio, Hungary, work with innovative UK radio software developers PSquared, and the launch of an experimental website for a joint project with the British Library - The West Midlands Pilot Project at www.pilot-project.co.uk, which documents new independent online music of all genres, on a regional basis.
